Georgia Tech Hydrogen Day 2026
The inaugural Georgia Tech Hydrogen Day convenes senior leaders from industry, government, academia and the Southeast hydrogen ecosystem for two days of events focused on accelerating the commercial adoption of hydrogen.
The program begins Oct. 7 with a Southeast Hydrogen Energy Alliance networking reception at Georgia Tech's Marcus Nanotechnology Building, where executives, researchers, policymakers and technology leaders connect ahead of the next day's discussions.
On Oct. 8, Georgia Tech and the Southeast Hydrogen Energy Alliance host the Southeast Hydrogen Roadmapping Forum, which examines the technical, economic, infrastructure and market barriers affecting hydrogen deployment in transportation, ports, rail and heavy industry. Industry leaders identify critical gaps, investment priorities, demonstration opportunities and collaborative actions needed to advance the regional hydrogen economy.
The program culminates with a Georgia Tech Hydrogen Day leadership session featuring executives from Georgia Tech, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Hyundai, Southern Company, Plug Power and other leading organizations. The session explores hydrogen's role in industrial competitiveness, energy security, operational efficiency, emissions reduction and economic development across Georgia and the Southeast.

Poster Session
The Georgia Tech hydrogen research community is invited to submit research group posters for the Oct. 7 prelude to Georgia Tech's inaugural Hydrogen Day. The event will convene senior leaders from industry, government, academia, and the Southeast hydrogen ecosystem for two days, beginning with activities on the afternoon and evening of Oct. 7 and continuing through Hydrogen Day on Oct. 8. Connected events will focus on recognizing and accelerating the research, development, and commercial adoption of hydrogen technologies.
The Oct. 7 poster session and networking reception will take place at Georgia Tech's Marcus Nanotechnology Building, where research groups, industry executives, policymakers, and technology leaders can connect ahead of the following day's discussions.

The reception and poster session is at the Marcus Nanotechnology Building located at 345 Ferst Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30332. Parking is available in the Area 4 Visitor Parking across from the building and also at the Area 5 Parking Deck.
October 8: Roadmapping Session & Research Tours
The Roadmapping session is held at the Marcus Nanotechnology Building located at 345 Ferst Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30332. Parking is available in the Area 4 Visitor Parking across from the building and also at the Area 5 Parking Deck.
The afternoon includes a visit to the North Avenue Research Area where Georgia Tech's hydrogen research facilities and labs are located. Parking is available onsite.
