Nuclear Public Webinar Series 2: The Economics and Policy of Nuclear Power: From National Policy to Local Opportunity

In the second of a three-part webinar series on nuclear energy, Laura Taylor, Director of Georgia Tech’s Energy Policy and Innovation Center and Professor of Economics, will join Steve Comello, Executive Vice President and Director of the Nuclear Scaling Initiative at the EFI Foundation, to examine the economics and policy landscape shaping nuclear power in the United States.

Hosted virtually and open to the public by the Georgia Tech Energy Policy and Innovation Center, The Economics and Policy of Nuclear Power: From National Policy to Local Opportunity will provide an accessible overview of the federal and state policies affecting nuclear development. The discussion will explore lessons from past projects, the economic realities of deploying new nuclear power, and opportunities for communities and policymakers to support a secure, reliable, low-carbon energy future.
